Wells Branch Community Support
We love supporting Wells Branch! Our school community program will donate $50 to either Northwest or Wells Branch elementary PTO (the 2 elementary schools that kids living in Wells Branch attend) for any client who mentions our community program. This donation is made after the home sale has closed and funded. Tammy's 2 kids attend Northwest Elementary and she is very active with the Northwest PTO. A huge thank you to all school staff and teachers everywhere!!!
Just a few examples of how we have recently helped our Wells Branch community:
- Donated pumpkins for the 2008 Wells Branch library pumpkin painting event & took free Polaroid pictures with everyone's cool decorated pumpkins
- Supported kid's summer reading programs at the Wells Branch Library where children earn prizes for achieving various reading levels
- Donated prizes for the children who are Wells Branch Armada Children's Swim Team members
- Took free Polaroid pictures (with our fun crazy July 4th hats provided) at the 2007 Wells Branch July 4th at the main park
- Supported Northwest Elementary's annual 2008, 2009, & 2010 Spring Fling fundaiser, which features a 1950's sockhop, carnival games, and a gift basket silent auction; new for the 2010 event: students got to pay a ticket to throw a pie in the face of their teacher (very popular!)
- Made a donation to support the Wells Branch Library's Teddy Bear Tea event, where kids bring their favorite stuffed animal to read a story and have tea
We are glad to give back to the schools and organizations that are making a positive impact in our community as well as the important PTO's which provide educational and other materials that the school districts may not be able to purchase. The remarkable volunteers and staff associated with these organizations are one of the reasons that Wells Branch is such a wonderful place to live.
